[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] Comedian Hong Hyunhee, who appeared on MBC's entertainment program 'The Manager', showcased her performance on stage.
In the episode of MBC's 'The Manager' aired on the 4th, Hong Hyunhee was shown preparing for the '2019 MBC Entertainment Awards' with her manager Park Chanyeol. Invited to the awards ceremony for the first time, Hong Hyunhee was seen practicing the opening stage performance.
Hong Hyunhee began serious practice with the dance team 'Kadishiba'. Exhausted from the rehearsals, she joked, "Can we postpone the Entertainment Awards to next year?" which made the cast laugh.
However, after about a month of practice, Hong Hyunhee was able to deliver a nearly perfect full performance.
Meanwhile, according to Nielsen Korea, a ratings research company, MBC's 'The Manager' recorded a 6.0% viewership rating for the first part and 7.4% for the second part based on households in the metropolitan area, ranking first among entertainment programs in the same time slot. The highest minute-by-minute rating soared to 8.1%.
