K-pop boy band INFINITE will lend their voices for a song that will be listed in a soundtrack to sitcom that will star member L.
Making it their first time to take part in a soundtrack since their debut in 2010, their agency Woolim Entertainment said in a press release Wednesday that INFINITE's song (which is still yet to be announced) will be featured in the soundtrack to MBC's sitcom "What's the Deal, Mom?" [translated title].
The boys will be teaming up once again with the hit making trio Sweetune, who is in charge for producing their song "Be Mine" as well as KARA's "STEP" and f(x)'s "Love."
"INFINITE made the decision to participate for this soundtrack as a way to excite their local fans since they have been with their activities overseas," a Woollim official said in the statement.
INFINITE, formed of Sung-kyu,Dong-woo, L, Woo-hyun, Sung-yeol, Hoya and Sung-jong, broke into the music scene with their first mini-album "First Invasion" in June of 2010.
Meanwhile, family sitcom "What's the Deal, Mom?," starring actress Na Moon-hee, Kim Sae-ron, comedian Kim Byung-man and INFINITE’s L, will hit airwaves on October 8 when MBC's ongoing sitcom "Stand-by" ends its run.
