2PM’s latest release in Japan has ranked at No. 2 spot on Japan's Oricon albums chart.
On Thursday, Oricon's official website showed that 2PM moved 16,253 copies of their greatest hits album titled "2PM Best-2008~2011 in Korea” after it was released in Japan on March 14.
The album will contain songs that were chosen by the fans such as "Heartbeat," "I'll Be Back" and "Hands Up" as well as the songs that two of the groupmates, Junho and Junsu, each composed, "Give It To Me" and "Hot.".
In November 2010, 2PM released their first DVD "Hottest~2PM 1st Music Video Collection & The History~,” which contains their music videos released to date, as well as pictorials and never-before-seen past footages, went on sale in the country.
It placed on Japan's Oricon chart and the boys held their first showcase "2PM 1ST CONTACT IN JAPAN" the following month which marked their debut in the country.
The group has since released several Japanese singles including "Take Off," "I'm Your Man" and "Ultra Lover" and recently topped Oricon's daily chart with their first full-length Japanese album "Republic of 2PM," which was also released in Korea.
