Korean-American actor Steven Yeun who is currently starring in popular American series "The Walking Dead" will hold a fan meeting in Korea this weekend.
Fox Channel Korea, the broadcaster of "The Walking Dead," announced in a press release on Wednesday that Yeun will meet with select fans in Seoul on December 17.
"It has been a while since I have visited Korea and I'm extremely happy to hear that viewers in Korea enjoy 'The Walking Dead,'" Yeun said in the statement.
"The Walking Dead," based on Robert Kirkman's ongoing comic series of the same name, follows a small group of survivors in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.
It first premiered in the United States in October last year and won the award for best television series drama at the 68th Golden Globe Awards.
Yeun, whose Korean name is Yeun Sang-yeop, began his acting career by joining improv groups and co-starred in film "My Name is Jerry" in 2009.
He also made a cameo as Sebastian in "The Big Bang Theory" and currently plays Glenn in "The Walking Dead."
