Korean female idols 2NE1 pushed past their competitors to become the new winners on Mnet's singles chart with their latest song. According to Mnet's chart on Tuesday, 2NE1's new title track "Hate You," from their second mini-album, jumped up two spots from the previous week to claim the No. 1 spot during the week of July 25 to 31. The girls’ new album is composed of other chart-topping tracks including "Don't Cry," "Lonely," "I am the Best," "UGLY" and bonus song "Don't Stop the Music." Rounding out the top three was last week's winner "Good-bye Baby" by miss A and Lena Park's rendition of song "If I Leave" made an incredible 82 spot jump to No. 3. Meanwhile, the sixth compilation album by top Korean artists for MBC's reality show "I'm a Singer" ranked in at No. 1 during the final week of July. The special album by MBC's "Infinite Challenge," containing songs by its casts and selected singers, was pushed to second place, while 2NE1's second mini-album came in third place after climbing up five spots. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
