World-renowned new age pianist George Winston will tour eight cities in Korea next month.George Winston’s official website revealed that his concert tour will kick off at the Andong Culture and Arts Center in Andong of the North Gyeongsang Province on June 22 followed by shows at the Uijeongbu Arts Center in Uijeongbu in the Gyeonggi Province on June 24, Icheon Art Hall in Gyeonggi Province on June 25, and Gwacheon CS in Gwacheon in the Gyeonggi Province on June 28. He will then take the stage at Konyang University in the North Gyeongsang Province the following day and continue with performances at the Seoul Arts Center in Seoul on June 30, the Ulju Culture and Arts Center in Ulju in the North Gyeongsang Province on July 1 and wrap up at the Busan Culture Center in Busan on July 5. George Winston began his career by playing the organ after being inspired by The Doors in 1967 and created his own style of music in 1971 such as 'rural folk piano' or 'folk piano' which most of his pieces are based on that evoke the essences of reason and reflect natural landscapes.He has released a number of albums and is famous for his season-based albums "Autumn," "December," "Winter Into Spring," "December," and Summer."
