MBLAQ tops mobile music charts in Japan with debut single

Korean boy band MBLAQ has topped mobile music charts in Japan with their upcoming debut single in the country, according to a press release from J.Tune Camp.On Wednesday, J.Tune announced that MBLAQ's song "Your Luv" maintained its position at No. 1 in the ringtone category of Japan's Recochoku mobile chart for four days upon its release on April 19 as well as scoring the top spot on the ringback tone chart. The boys' album which is set to go on sale in Japan on May 4, produced in a regular and special edition, has also placed within the top three slots of preorder album charts. In February, the boys' agency J.Tune Entertainment had announced that MBLAQ will make their debut into the music scene in Japan after signing with Sony Music Records. The group recently released the music video for "Your Luv" onto their official Japanese website. Composed of members Seung-ho, G.O., Lee Joon, Chun-dung and Mir, MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) made their debut in 2009 with their single album "JUST BLAQ" and followed it up with their second single "Y" in May 2009.They have enjoyed a successful return to the local music scene in January this year with their first full-length album "BLAQ Style" and released the 3D edition the following month.
