Korean rock band CNBLUE [FNC Music]

Korean rock band CNBLUE has postponed the release of their first full-length album to next month, according to their agency FNC Music on Wednesday. "The company has decided to push back the album release to March," a PR official from FNC told 10Asia over the phone. "The boys are currently shooting a music video for their upcoming album in Japan and will return to Korea to put the final touches on it and decide which tracks to add in or take out. We also plan to include a lot of the songs that the members have written." When asked if CNBLUE's leader Jung Yong-hwa's song "A Song For First-Time Lovers" will be included in the album, the official said that they are still in talks since the song is faring well on various music charts. "We hope to fulfill our fans' expectations for our album and songs even though we have postponed the release date of our album," the members of CNBLUE were quoted as saying. Making their singing debut in Japan in 2008, CNBLUE splashed onto the music scene in Korea with their hit single “Alone” early last year. They followed it up with other hit songs including “Love” and “Love Light.”They have led a successful music career overseas as well, going double platinum in Taiwan and placing in the top ranks of the prestigious Oricon chart in Japan. Outside of their group activities, the boys have expanded their careers in the entertainment industry, appearing in dramas, movies and a number of variety shows. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
