TVXQ stands unbeatable on TV music chart 3 weeks straight

TVXQ’s latest song “Why (Keep Your Head Down)” was deemed a winner on televised music charts for the third week in a row.“Why" took first place on KBS' "Music Bank" on the third week last Friday followed by its third win on weekly SBS' Inkigayo" on Sunday. The recent achievements adds to their victory on weekly music cable channel Mnet's "M! Countdown" show on January 20.For their acceptance speech on Music Bank on January 28, TVXQ, who were unable to attend due to their overlapping schedule in Japan, gave their acceptance speech through video instead.“Thank you so much. We’ll work hard in Japan and even more in Music Bank to show the best of TVXQ,” said duo U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin through the clip. “We’ll be back in Korea soon so please keep rooting for us.” True to their words, the boys were present at SBS’ "Inkigayo.” “We express our thanks to our SM family, dancers and loving fans,” the boys said, adding, “Further congrats to our manager who is getting married soon.” “Why,” the title track to TVXQ’s latest album of the same name, is a powerful dance number that declares good bye to a lover who has left forever. TVXQ, which debuted in 2004, was formerly a five-member boy band but now active only with members U-know Yunho and Max Changmin after a legal embroilment led members Junsu, Yuchun and Jaejoong to suspend their activities with the group.Nonetheless the group has been faring well so far with their newest album disclosed early this month, having swept the major music charts at home as well as that of Japan and Taiwan.
