Korean drama 'Secret Garden' sold to 13 countries

SBS hit TV series "Secret Garden," starring Korean actors Hyun Bin and Ha Ji-won, has been sold to 13 countries. According to an official from SBS Contents Hub, the 20-part drama, a romantic comedy which tells about a man and woman's soul that become switched, has been sold to Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, the United Sates, Myanmar and Cambodia. "We are still in talks with several more countries while others have inquired about the distribution rights for 'Secret Garden,'" the official went on to explain. "Secret Garden," which first began in Korea in mid-November, brought in steady viewership ratings in the high 20-percent range and ended its run last weekend peaking at over 35 percent.The show also produced several hit songs including "That Man," sung by Hyun Bin, and "That Woman" which held onto its spot in first place on several online music charts. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
