LG CNS announced on March 2 that it will conduct large-scale recruitment for experienced professionals in the first half of this year, aiming to secure talent in future core business areas such as AI and robotics. The company plans to hire in the triple digits.
This recruitment drive will cover major business sectors including AI, robotics, global finance, consulting, data centers, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and smart factories. Anyone with relevant hands-on experience and expertise is eligible to apply, regardless of major or years of experience.
The primary area of recruitment, AI roles, involves designing and implementing AI models and services tailored to client businesses. LG CNS AX professionals are currently carrying out AI projects across various industries such as finance, public sector, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals & biotechnology. Ongoing projects include the Bank of Korea's digital currency automated payment system pilot, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ AI data platform development, AI platform initiatives in the financial sector, and the implementation of an automated product quality evaluation system for Chong Kun Dang in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology field. The company has also signed a contract for the Ministry of Health and Welfare's K-AI new drug development platform project.
In the robotics sector, LG CNS is responsible for robot automation projects at logistics and manufacturing sites. The company is currently conducting industrial humanoid robot pilots with more than 10 client companies, and is advancing related technology research through its AI & Robotics Research Center in Silicon Valley, USA, and its domestic Future Robotics Lab.
LG CNS provides various AI tools to its employees, including Chat AXA-One and ChatGPT Enterprise. It also operates an in-house development environment called 'AI Prompt Studio,' which allows for comparison and verification of multiple AI models.
Recruitment information can be found on the LG CNS recruitment website and the LG Group recruitment portal. An LG CNS representative stated, "We are focusing on recruiting and nurturing talent to secure global-level AX and RX leadership and to continuously strengthen our core technological competitiveness," adding, "We will focus on securing practical talent capable of applying cutting-edge technologies such as AI and robotics to industrial workplaces."
