Fundraising and Donations for Children with Rare Diseases
Samsung Bioepis announced on March 2 that it held its 14th anniversary celebration event at its Songdo headquarters in Incheon on February 27.
During the event, the company awarded outstanding employees and departments, and planted an apricot tree to symbolize a new beginning.

In recognition of "Rare Disease Day" (February 28), the company also carried out community contribution activities in partnership with the non-governmental and non-profit organization Save the Children. These activities included fundraising and sharing of goods for children with rare diseases, donations, assembling first-aid kits, and writing support cards.
Samsung Bioepis currently supplies a total of 11 biosimilar products in Korea across various therapeutic areas, including EPYSQLI, a treatment for rare diseases such as paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). Notably, EPYSQLI was launched at about half the price of the original drug (Soliris), significantly improving patient access in Korea.
