"Final debate reached a clear conclusion... Conspiracy theories thrive on distrust"
Leader Jang: "Party-level TF will be formed for thorough monitoring"
The Reform New Party directly criticized Jang Donghyeok, leader of the People Power Party, regarding the ongoing controversy over allegations of election fraud. Following the 'final debate' between Lee Joonseok, leader of the Reform New Party, and YouTuber Jeon Hangil (real name Jeon Yugwan), Jang announced plans to establish an election monitoring task force (TF). The Reform New Party pointed out, "The real problem is Leader Jang."
Lee Donghoon, chief spokesperson of the Reform New Party, issued a statement on March 1, saying, "The debate on the 27th of last month is over. The conclusion was clear: there is no evidence for the election fraud conspiracy theory." He added, "Conspiracy theories only inflate suspicions, layer on delusions, and thrive on distrust."

He continued, "(Leader Jang) ignores the conclusion of the debate and speaks of ‘public interest.’ He proposes revising the election system ‘regardless of the truth.’" He criticized this, saying, "It is an idea to shake the system without evidence, and a calculation to use the distrust fueled by conspiracy theories as political fuel." He further added, "After defending Yoon Sukyeol, he now embraces the delusion of election fraud. The wounds left by Yoon Sukyeol’s politics have not even healed yet. Are they really trying to survive yet again by relying on conspiracy theories?"
The previous day, Leader Jang wrote on Facebook that the 'final debate' on election fraud between Leader Lee and Jeon, hosted by the online media outlet Pen & Mike, surpassed five million cumulative viewers in just one day, saying, "This shows the high level of public interest in a fair election system."
He also stated, "The public believes that, regardless of the veracity of election fraud claims, issues such as granting voting rights to foreigners and poor management of early voting must be corrected." He added, "The People Power Party will officially begin discussions on overhauling the election system and will form a party-level TF to ensure thorough election monitoring in the upcoming local elections."
