"Ensuring the Safety of Nationals Residing in Iran"

The National Security Office at the Blue House stated on the 28th, "Our government is closely monitoring the current situation concerning Iran," and urged, "We call on all parties to make the utmost effort to ease tensions in the region."
The National Security Office expressed this position in response to the recent air strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran.
The office also stated, "Our government is doing everything possible to ensure the safety of our nationals residing in Iran."
Meanwhile, beginning at 7 PM today, the Blue House is holding a working-level meeting of the National Security Council (NSC), with the participation of foreign affairs and security ministries.
Previously, President Lee Jaemyung was briefed on the matter and instructed that "the safety of our citizens in Iran and neighboring areas must be given top priority."
On this day, Israel's Minister of Defense carried out a "preventive strike" against Iran. It has been reported that the targets included key Iranian military facilities, government agencies, and intelligence assets.
United States President Donald Trump also acknowledged the attack shortly after the airstrike, stating on Truth Social, "A major battle has just begun inside Iran," thus confirming the U.S. offensive.
According to the Associated Press and BBC, Bahrain's National Communication Center (NCC) announced that following the Israeli and U.S. airstrikes, the headquarters of the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet stationed in Bahrain had come under missile attack.
