Lee Boo-jin, President of Hotel Shilla, who has consistently drawn attention for her sophisticated style at official events, is once again in the spotlight for her outfit at her son's university entrance ceremony. Many have commented that she perfectly embodied the so-called "old money look," which exudes understated luxury through material and silhouette rather than flashy brand logos.

On February 26, President Lee attended the 2026 entrance ceremony at Seoul National University in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, to celebrate her eldest son Lim's admission. In particular, she drew attention by staying by Lim's side and wearing a bright, gentle smile often described as a classic "mom smile."
Dior Jacket & Hermes Birkin Bag... The Epitome of the 'Old Money Look'
Her fashion on this day naturally became a topic of interest as well. The jacket worn by President Lee was identified as a piece from the French luxury brand Dior. The "Belted Jacket with Removable Scarf," featuring a standout scarf, is part of Dior's 2025 Cruise Collection and is not currently available on the brand's official Korean website. It is reportedly being sold for around 8.5 million won on overseas online platforms.
She also carried Hermes’s iconic Birkin Bag. The Birkin Bag, like her jacket, is recognized for its craftsmanship and the inherent quality of its materials rather than conspicuous logos, emphasizing dignity over ostentation. This is seen as a prime example of "quiet luxury."

Always in the Spotlight at Public Appearances
It has become routine for President Lee’s clothing and accessories to become immediate talking points whenever she appears at official events. In some cases, related items have seen a surge in sales or even sold out after being identified.
Previously, at Lim’s high school graduation ceremony, President Lee attracted attention by appearing in an "all black" ensemble, from head to toe. Her outerwear was a long tailored coat from the French luxury brand Lanvin, distinguished by a leather strap detail at the waist. The bag she carried was the "Numero Un" black tote bag from the French brand Polene, featuring classic calfskin leather. This item is currently sold on the brand’s official website for about 700,000 won.

At the Dooul Scholarship Foundation's certificate award ceremony, she drew attention by wearing a "high-neck wool dress" from the Korean designer brand Dint. This product is reportedly priced in the 170,000 won range. At the same event in 2024, President Lee wore a two-piece from the same brand; the "Nento Slim Jacket Skirt Two-Piece" she wore then was known to cost approximately 119,700 won.
