Two additional Metropolitan Express Bus (M-Bus) routes connecting Incheon's Yeongjong International City and Songdo International City with the Gangnam area of Seoul will begin operation on February 28.
The M6463 route starts from ePyeonhansesang Yeongjong Sky City, passes through Unseo Station, the Incheon International Airport Expressway, and Olympic-daero, and connects to the areas around Gangnam Station and Yangjae Flower Market. Full-scale service will begin with the first departure at 5 a.m. on February 28.
This route is the second Metropolitan Express Bus line connecting Yeongjong International City and Seoul's Gangnam area, following the M6462 route that opened in December 2024.
The M6464 route starts from Hillstate Lake Songdo 2nd Complex in Songdo 6th District, and runs through Incheon National University Station, Sadang Station, Seocho Station, Gyodae Station, and Gangnam Station.
At the initial stage of operation, a total of three buses-two regular vehicles and one chartered bus-will be deployed first. The number of buses will be gradually increased based on passenger demand and vehicle availability.
An official from Incheon City stated, "With the addition of these M-Bus routes, we expect the accessibility between Yeongjong, Songdo, and Seoul to improve," adding, "We will continue to expand metropolitan transportation services in cooperation with the Metropolitan Transport Commission of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport."
