New Service Launched on KB Star Banking
Over 100,000 Subscribers in Just One Day
KB Kookmin Bank announced on February 26 that it has launched the "Dallija" service, which connects running activities to the KB Star Banking app.
"Dallija" is available to all KB Star Banking users aged 14 and above. The service manages users' running records and offers various benefits based on the total accumulated distance. Running data can be automatically imported by linking with Samsung Health on Android or the Health app on Apple devices.
In particular, the "Vending Machine" feature within the service provides Star Points, which can be used when signing up for financial products, and various prizes based on the accumulated running distance. The service also offers running-related information. Within just one day of launch, the number of subscribers surpassed 100,000.
KB Kookmin Bank plans to introduce a savings product in the first half of the year that offers preferential interest rates according to the accumulated running distance. The bank will continue to update the service and expand participatory content such as ranking services and challenges.
To celebrate the launch, KB Kookmin Bank is hosting an event until March 31. During the event period, one subscriber will be selected by lottery to receive a Shinsegae Emart gift certificate worth 300,000 won. All users who run at least 1 km will receive 5 Star Points, which can be used when signing up for financial products. In addition, depending on the accumulated running distance, the bank is offering various prizes, including a Garmin smart watch (1 winner), a GS25 mobile voucher worth 1,000 won (10,000 winners), a Starbucks Americano mobile coupon (1,000 winners), and an Olive Young gift card worth 10,000 won (100 winners).
