Busan Bank Section to Launch within Toss App
BNK Busan Bank announced on February 27 that it has signed a strategic marketing partnership agreement with the financial platform Toss to strengthen its non-face-to-face business capabilities.
Busan Bank explained that the agreement aims to promote various non-face-to-face partnership businesses based on the platforms and financial expertise held by both companies, and to provide more convenient financial services to non-face-to-face customers.
Under this agreement, a dedicated Busan Bank section will be launched within the Toss application, allowing Toss users to browse and subscribe to a variety of Busan Bank's financial products without the need to install a separate app.
In addition, to expand inclusive finance, a web-based loan process will be introduced to improve access to financial products for low-income individuals, including products such as Sunshine Loan and Saeheum Holssi.
Both companies plan to leverage this agreement by combining Busan Bank's offline financial infrastructure with Toss's user experience (UX) and big data technologies to provide differentiated digital financial experiences, including customized services for customers.
Jang Inho, Head of the Personal Customer Group at Busan Bank, said, "Based on our collaboration with Toss, Korea's leading financial platform, we will continue to pursue the development of new business models and joint marketing initiatives," adding, "We will keep working to deliver tangible benefits to our customers in the future."
Kim Jinhyung, Head of Financial Business at Toss, emphasized, "Through this agreement, we aim to enhance customer accessibility by combining Toss's user experience with Busan Bank's financial expertise," and continued, "By cooperating with regional financial institutions, we will expand the range of financial options on our platform and create a more convenient non-face-to-face financial environment."
