"Endangered Love" named Song of the Year
Lee Chanhyuk of AKMU won three awards at the 23rd Korean Music Awards with Kakao Cultural Foundation.
According to the Korean Music Awards Secretariat on the 27th, Lee Chanhyuk won Song of the Year, Best Pop Album, and Best Pop Song at the ceremony, which was broadcast live via Melon and YouTube the previous day.
EROS, which won Best Pop Album, is an album released 2 years and 9 months after his first solo album ERROR, which came out in October 2022. The track Endangered Love climbed back up the charts after his performance at the Blue Dragon Film Awards last November and went on to win both Song of the Year and Best Pop Song.
Jennie became a double winner in the Best K-pop Album and Best K-pop Song categories with her first full-length solo album RUBY and its title track like JENNIE.
Album of the Year went to Chudahye Chagis, and Musician of the Year went to Han Roro. Rookie of the Year was awarded to Woo Heejun. Chudahye Chagis, Woo Heejun, Kwon Namu, Sik-K, and Lil Moshpit each took home two awards. The Achievement Award went to Songgolmae, and the Special Committee Award went to CJ Cultural Foundation Tune Up.
