The new song "Rude! (RUDE!)" by the group Hearts2Hearts is ranking high on music charts in both China and Korea.
According to SM Entertainment on the 27th, "Rude!" has topped both the new releases chart and the popularity index chart on QQ Music, China's largest music platform. It also took first place on the K-pop weekly chart for the tally period of February 20 to 26.
The total number of views for the dance challenge videos on the short-form platform Douyin has surpassed 30 million. This figure continues the record set by their previous releases "The Chase," "Style (STYLE)," and "Focus (FOCUS)."
The song is also breaking records on domestic charts. As of 11 p.m. on the 26th, "Rude!" ranked fifth on Melon’s "Top 100," and it placed 16th on the daily chart on the 25th. "Focus," which was released in October last year, has also climbed up to 32nd on the same chart.
The music video surpassed 40 million views in just 5 days and 17 hours after its release. This is a much faster pace compared with the previous track "Focus," which took about three months to reach 40 million views.
