Source Music announced on the 27th that girl group LE SSERAFIM has set another streaming record in Japan.
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, LE SSERAFIM's first English digital single "Perfect Night" surpassed a cumulative 200 million streams in January, earning a Double Platinum certification in the streaming category. This is the group's second such achievement, following "ANTIFRAGILE."
The Recording Industry Association of Japan grants certifications every month based on cumulative streams: Gold for over 50 million streams, Platinum for over 100 million streams, and Diamond for over 500 million streams.
"Perfect Night" carries the message that even an imperfect day can be enjoyable as long as you are with like-minded friends. Huh Yunjin took part in writing the lyrics. The song maintained its popularity by ranking high on charts such as the Circle Chart Global K-Pop Chart in 2025.
LE SSERAFIM now has a total of five songs with over 100 million streams in the Recording Industry Association of Japan's streaming category. "ANTIFRAGILE" and "Perfect Night" have each surpassed 200 million streams, while "FEARLESS," "UNFORGIVEN," and "Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard's Wife" have all exceeded 100 million streams.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM member Kim Chaewon is appearing as a panelist on MBC's "The Firsts," while Sakura and Kazuha are participating in the audition program "WORLD SCOUT: THE FINAL PIECE." Kazuha, Huh Yunjin, and Hong Eunchae recently attended major brand shows at New York and Milan Fashion Weeks.
