Topped with Pork and Yeoltan Bulgogi Special Sauce
Theborn Korea announced on the 27th that Yeokjeon Udon 0410, its udon and rice bowl specialty restaurant brand, has launched a new menu item, "Yeoltan Jeyuk Deopbap," created in collaboration with its barbecue restaurant brand Saemaeul Sikdang. "Yeoltan Jeyuk Deopbap" is a rice bowl menu that applies the special sauce of "Yeoltan Bulgogi," the signature menu of Saemaeul Sikdang, to stir-fried spicy pork.
This new menu item features pork shoulder to enhance texture, and it is characterized by the unique sweet yet spicy sauce of Yeoltan Bulgogi, with a subtle charcoal-grilled aroma added. Stir-fried spicy pork is placed on top of rice, and green onions, seaweed flakes, and a fried egg are added as garnish to complete it as a one-bowl meal. The company explained that it "has realized a flavor profile that is differentiated from existing jeyuk deopbap."
A Yeokjeon Udon representative said, "In order to add a unique flavor to the familiar jeyuk deopbap, we incorporated Saemaeul Sikdang's Yeoltan Bulgogi special sauce know-how and introduced it as a rice bowl menu item unique to Yeokjeon Udon," adding, "We hope you will experience this new jeyuk deopbap, where the charcoal aroma and umami are in harmony."
