On the 26th, Netflix announced that it has confirmed production of the second season of the variety show "Crazy Hospitality with Gian84" (tentative title).
"Crazy Hospitality with Gian84" is a reality variety show that combines broadcaster Gian84 (Kim Heemin)'s unique perspective with the concept of running a guesthouse. Season 1, released last year, entered the Top 10 in several countries, including Korea.
The new Season 2 will move its setting from the summer seas off Ulleungdo in the previous season to winter in Daegwallyeong. In an environment of bitter cold and snowfields, Gian84 will return having grown from a novice host into an experienced host, running a new guesthouse.
This season, volleyball player Kim Yeonkoung, singer-actor Lee Junho, and LE SSERAFIM member Kazuha will join the show.
Netflix said, "The format that broke the mold of conventional guesthouse variety shows, along with its out-of-the-ordinary experiences, resonated with viewers," adding, "Please look forward to the chemistry that experienced host Gian84 and the three new staff members, each with their own distinct charm, will create in midwinter Daegwallyeong." Season 2 is scheduled for release in the third quarter.
