Inside the venue, she stood side by side with her son to take commemorative photos and watched the ceremony from the audience with a smile on her face. She was also seen hugging Im near the parking lot while she and Hong, the honorary director, were waiting for him. When reporters asked for her thoughts, she briefly replied, "I am grateful." After finishing a family photo shoot, she left the campus in a prepared car.
Im had previously been admitted to the Department of Economics at Seoul National University through the early admission process for the 2026 academic year. He graduated from Whimoon High School and is known to have consistently maintained top-tier grades in the humanities track throughout middle and high school. At the graduation ceremony held on the 9th of this month, he graduated second in his class and received a scholarship, as well as the Principal's Award and the Award from the Head of Gangnam District Office in Seoul.

Lee also attended her son's high school graduation ceremony. At the time, Im went on stage and passionately sang "Never Ending Story" by the band Boohwal and "To You" by Shin Hae-chul together with his friends. Watching from the audience, Lee smiled and applauded. She was also seen responding to requests from other attendees who asked to take photos with her.
Im recently became a hot topic after sharing his study experiences with younger students at an admissions academy information session in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Known especially for his excellent math grades, he said, "Every time I prepared for an exam, I solved about 2,000 problems to build up practice." He also emphasized, "Although it is not an easy choice, I would recommend completely giving up smartphones and games for three years," adding that "it helped improve my concentration and immersion."
