Proposal for Budget Support
for Six Projects under the Special Adjustment Grant Program
Totalling 1.8 Billion Won
On February 25, Seongju County in North Gyeongsang Province visited the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government Office, where they met with Governor Lee Cheolwoo and requested cooperation to resolve local pending issues and secure budget funding.
During this visit, Seongju County comprehensively conveyed the local conditions, challenges, and administrative demands in each relevant sector in order to ensure the smooth implementation of key pending projects that are directly connected to the lives of county residents.

In addition, the county proposed budget support totaling 1.8 billion won for six projects to be financed through special adjustment grants, explaining the need for financial backing to ensure the stable implementation of major projects.
Seongju County also outlined its wide-area linkage projects, sharing views on cooperation measures with neighboring regions and on the implementation direction from a mid- to long-term perspective.
An official from Seongju County stated, "We will work closely with North Gyeongsang Province to improve the quality of life for county residents and to build a foundation for sustainable regional growth," adding, "We will continue to identify policies that lead to tangible development of the region, while making every effort to secure diverse financial resources and to implement projects."
