60 Officials Participate to Enhance On-site Response Capabilities
A joint public-private drill was carried out at Incheon Airport to enhance the on-site response capabilities of the fire authorities in the event of an emergency such as an aircraft accident.

Incheon International Airport Corporation said on the 26th that it conducted joint drills with the nearby Incheon Yeongjong Fire Station for two days from the 25th to strengthen crisis response capabilities.
The drills were organized to support Yeongjong Fire Station’s rapid dispatch and on-site response in the event of an accident by familiarizing participants in advance with key locations and geographical features within the airport. A total of 60 people, including new firefighters from Yeongjong Fire Station and members of the Incheon Airport fire brigade, took part and focused on checking the locations of major airport facilities, the shortest dispatch routes, and designated standby areas.
The two organizations plan to further solidify their cooperation system and continuously enhance their crisis management capabilities through regular joint drills in the future.
Cho Yongsoo, Head of Operations at Incheon International Airport Corporation, said, "We will strengthen our ability to respond to crisis situations through close cooperation with Yeongjong Fire Station" and added, "We will do our utmost to provide safe airport services that people can use with peace of mind."
