Sinan County Saves 900 Million Won Through Contract Cost Reviews

Sinan-gun in Jeollanam-do actively implemented its contract cost review system and saved 900 million won from the budget in 2025 alone.

The cumulative amount saved over the past three years reached 3.6 billion won. The contract cost review system is a制度 that prevents budget waste by pre-reviewing the appropriateness of base amounts, estimated prices, and increases or decreases due to design changes in the bidding and contracting process for construction, services, and goods.

In 2025, the county conducted reviews on a total of 172 projects (68 construction projects, 39 service projects, and 65 goods procurements) worth 61 billion won, saving 900 million won.

In particular, it reduced a cumulative total of 3.6 billion won over the three years from 2023 to 2025, thereby improving the efficiency of its fiscal management.

An official from the county said, "We will continue to pursue sound fiscal management through meticulous reviews that reflect the purpose and scale of each contract, as well as the unique characteristics of the region."
