Korea Exchange Holds Online Roadshow for Asia-Pacific Institutional Investors

The Korea Exchange Stock Market Division announced on the 26th that it held the "2026 First-Half KOSPI Market Roadshow" for major institutional investors in the Asia-Pacific region and promoted government policy directions, the current status of the KOSPI market, and key regulatory improvements.


The roadshow was held online to provide timely communication on the performance of the Korean stock market and policy directions. More than 100 overseas institutional investors from Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and other locations participated.


During the roadshow, the Korea Exchange shared the recent performance of the Korean stock market and explained regulatory improvements aimed at enhancing market accessibility for foreign investors, as well as plans to upgrade market infrastructure, including the introduction of pre-market and after-market trading sessions.


Jeong Gyuil, Head of the Korea Exchange Stock Market Division, said, "Thanks to the government's ongoing efforts to improve regulations for the era of the Korea Premium and the strong interest of investors, the KOSPI index has surpassed 6,000 points and is hitting record highs day after day," adding, "Going forward, the Korea Exchange will continue to actively support government policies and listen closely to investors' voices so that our market can be recognized as an advanced market."
