The Mansusan Barrier-Free Sharing Trail is designed so that people with mobility difficulties, including wheelchair users and families with strollers, can safely reach the mountaintop. Convenience facilities have also been enhanced, including rest areas that minimize forest damage, LED lighting for nighttime walkers, and safety railings.

Recently, the excellence of the project was recognized when it received the top national award in the forest-welfare barrier-free sharing trail category of the "2025 Green Infrastructure Expansion Project."

The district office held a commemorative walking event the previous day with about 100 local residents, including people with disabilities, non-disabled people, and senior citizens, to celebrate the completion of the barrier-free sharing trail.

Namdong-gu Mayor Park Jonghyo said, "We have created the nation's longest forest-type barrier-free trail, where people with mobility difficulties can safely go hiking at any time," adding, "We will continue to focus on maintenance and management to operate a high-quality barrier-free sharing trail."
