"2026 Integrated Corporate Support Program Briefing Session" held...around 60 representatives from 55 local companies attended
On February 25, the Geumsan Ginseng and Herbal Medicine Industry Promotion Institute held a 2026 Integrated Corporate Support Program Briefing Session for ginseng and herbal medicine manufacturers, processors, producer organizations, and others in Geumsan County, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the ginseng and herbal medicine industry.
This briefing session was organized to help companies participate strategically in key support programs scheduled to be implemented this year by providing guidance on those programs. Around 60 representatives from 55 local companies attended the event, demonstrating strong interest.
The main support programs introduced were: new product development and promotion, education and consulting, domestic and overseas marketing, quality control and certification, and export promotion.
In addition, the application procedures and important notes were explained in detail.
In particular, the institute provided an integrated explanation of how to link and utilize the different programs and whether overlapping applications are allowed, thereby presenting an integrated support system that companies can practically use, and listened to on-site difficulties and suggestions through a Q&A session.
Furthermore, officials from the Geumsan County Office Ginseng and Herbal Medicine Policy Division and the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency also attended and introduced additional support policies offered by local governments and related organizations, enabling participating companies to access a wide range of support information.
Detailed announcements and application schedules for the Geumsan Ginseng and Herbal Medicine Industry Promotion Institute's 2026 corporate support programs will be posted sequentially on the websites of the institute and the Geumsan County Office, and inquiries can be directed to the Industry Promotion Team of the Geumsan Ginseng and Herbal Medicine Industry Promotion Institute.
An official from the institute stated, "Through this integrated briefing session, companies will be able to understand and prepare for the support programs in a systematic way," adding, "We will continue to strengthen field-oriented support and linkages between programs to enhance the competitiveness of the ginseng and herbal medicine industry."
