Kumho P&B Chemical Donates 50 Million Won in Neighborly Love Fund

Employees Voluntarily Raise KRW 26.4 Million
KRW 52.8 Million in Total to Support Self-Reliance of Local Care Neighbors

Kumho P&B Chemical Donates 50 Million Won in Neighborly Love Fund Kumho P&B Chemical Co., Ltd. donated KRW 52.8 million in Neighbor Love donations to support local care recipients, giving KRW 28.8 million to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea and KRW 24.0 million to the Bomun Welfare Association. The Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea) announced on the 26th that Kumho P&B Chemical Co., Ltd. donated KRW 52,800,000 in neighborly love funds for local care neighbors, providing KRW 28,800,000 to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea and KRW 24,000,000 to the Bomun Welfare Association.


The donation ceremony, held on the 25th in the main conference room of Plant 1 of Kumho P&B Chemical in Yeosu, was attended by Kumho P&B Chemical Vice President Koo Jaseong, Managing Director Lee Sunwoo, Managing Director Kim Yunmo, General Manager Kang Kyungbok, as well as Team Leader Lee Hyunseung and staff members from the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea.


The funds were raised through a matching grant program, in which employees voluntarily donated KRW 26,400,000 and the company contributed an equivalent amount, resulting in a total of KRW 52,800,000.


Kumho P&B Chemical carried out this sharing initiative to support local care neighbors so that they can grow independently in a stable environment, and to practice employee-participatory ESG management by donating funds to welfare facilities and the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea.


Of the donated amount, KRW 24,000,000 will be delivered directly to the Bomun Welfare Association center to provide prompt support, and the remaining funds will be delivered to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea for allocation to ensure transparent use.


Vice President Koo Jaseong of Kumho P&B Chemical said, "I hope that the funds raised through the voluntary participation of our employees will bring warm hope to the local community," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities as a company that grows together with the region."


Team Leader Lee Hyunseung of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea said, "We are deeply grateful to all the employees of Kumho P&B Chemical for practicing sharing despite difficult circumstances," and added, "We will ensure that the donated funds are used transparently and fairly to support neighbors in need."
