SK Securities Wins Financial Supervisory Service Commissioner Award in Outstanding Financial Company Employee Category for One Company-One School Financial Education

SK Securities announced on the 26th that Hwang Inyong, Head of its Icheon Private Banking Center, received the Financial Supervisory Service Commissioner Award in the Outstanding Financial Company Employee category at the "2025 One Company-One School Financial Education Best Practices Awards" hosted by the Financial Supervisory Service on the 25th.

The One Company-One School financial education program is a system in which financial institutions partner with schools to provide continuous financial education to teenagers. Since 2020, Hwang has personally visited nine high schools in the Icheon area to deliver financial education. While carrying out branch sales activities in parallel, he coordinated his teaching schedule and worked with members of the Icheon Private Banking Center to ensure that all financial education requests received from the local community were handled without interruption. In particular, his efforts to establish a recurring, regular education framework that goes beyond one-off visits were recognized as a key contribution for this award.

The financial education program was tailored to a wide range of student groups, including economics club members, students in special education classes, and third-year high school students after the college entrance exam. It focuses on explaining, through real-life examples, topics such as the importance of credit management, prevention of financial fraud, rational consumption and financial decision-making, and the connection between career paths and finance for teenagers taking their first steps into society. Rather than stopping at theoretical delivery, the program is designed to build financial capabilities that can be applied immediately in real life.

Hwang said, "I believe financial education is a process of cultivating the basic competencies that teenagers must acquire before entering society," adding, "I will continue to provide on-site financial education directly to teenagers in the local community so that the expertise of financial institutions can make a tangible contribution to society."

Building on last year's achievement of receiving the Korea Financial Investment Association Chairman Award in the Outstanding Employee category for the One Company-One School financial education program, SK Securities has now won the Financial Supervisory Service Commissioner Award this year, continuing its success in the field of financial education for two consecutive years. A representative of SK Securities emphasized, "This is the result of the company consistently implementing field-oriented financial education for teenagers in the local community at an organizational level."
