100 Days Until the Opening of the 2026 Gangneung World Masters Table Tennis Championships
Gangneung City in Gangwon Province and the Organizing Committee announced on the 26th that they had signed a presenting partner agreement on the 25th with XIOM, a global table tennis equipment brand representing South Korea, to mark 100 days until the opening of the 2026 Gangneung World Masters Table Tennis Championships.

Under this agreement, the official title of the tournament has been confirmed as "XIOM 2026 Gangneung World Masters Table Tennis Championships" (English title: ITTF WORLD MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS GANGNEUNG 2026 PRESENTED BY XIOM).
With XIOM's participation, the tournament is expected to secure greater operational stability, further strengthen its stature and professionalism through collaboration with a global brand, and significantly expand both its recognition and global promotional impact.
Executive Committee Chair Hyun Junghwa stated, "I feel very reassured to be working with a table tennis specialist brand that represents South Korea," adding, "Through cooperation with our sponsor, we are now able to provide participating athletes with a more complete tournament environment. We will do our utmost to ensure that this event becomes a new milestone for the World Masters Table Tennis Championships."
As the host city of the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics, Gangneung City plans to leverage its accumulated experience and infrastructure in managing international events to turn this tournament into a platform for global sports exchange and an opportunity to revitalize the local economy.
