Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation will officially begin operating the Ttokbeoseu in Mohyeon-eup, Yongin, on March 1. Provided by Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation.
The Yongin-si Ttokbeoseu service was first introduced in Namsa-eup and Idong-eup in June 2025, and this time the service area has been expanded to Mohyeon-eup.
The Mohyeon-eup Ttokbeoseu not only circulates within Mohyeon-eup, but is also connected to the Pogok-eup Administrative Welfare Center and Samgye High School, thereby simultaneously expanding both daily life and school commuting transport networks. In particular, the Pogok-eup Administrative Welfare Center is a transfer hub where major routes toward Yongin Bus Terminal are concentrated, and through this hub connection, the accessibility of Mohyeon-eup residents to wider-area travel is expected to improve significantly. In addition, by connecting to Samgye High School, the service is also expected to greatly contribute to improving commuting conditions for students in Mohyeon-eup.
A total of four vehicles will be deployed for operation: two 11-seater CV1 vehicles and two 13-seater Solati vehicles. The service will run daily from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and ride requests will be accepted until 10:00 p.m.
Fares, when paid with a transportation card, are the same as regular city bus fares: 1,650 won for adults, 1,160 won for teenagers, and 830 won for children, and the metropolitan integrated transfer discount will be applied.
To use Ttokbeoseu, passengers can enter their departure and arrival points in the “Ttokta” app to request a Ttokbeoseu in real time and receive information on the boarding location and vehicle. Passengers who find it difficult to use the app can also use Ttokbeoseu by making a request via phone.
Yang Wooseok, Acting President of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, said, “By expanding the Ttokbeoseu service area to Mohyeon-eup, we have further enhanced the convenience of residents’ travel,” adding, “We will continue to make efforts to expand everyday, resident-focused transportation services that provincial residents can truly feel in their daily lives.”
Meanwhile, starting with the Paju Ttokbeoseu pilot project in 2022, Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation is now operating a total of 316 Ttokbeoseu vehicles in 20 cities and counties across Gyeonggi-do, including the current Yongin-si Ttokbeoseu service. Allowing passengers to travel from departure to destination seated without transfers, Ttokbeoseu has established itself as an app-based new transportation mode within Gyeonggi-do and has been receiving a very positive response from residents.
