The main training topics included: wildfire prevention and initial firefighting procedures; operation of wildfire suppression equipment and establishment of fire lines; resident evacuation drills and emergency recovery in the event of landslides; monitoring of forest pests and diseases and sample collection procedures; and training on the use of safety gear and the prevention of safety accidents.

An official from the city said, "We will strengthen the disaster response capabilities of the Forest Disaster Response Unit through continuous education and training," adding, "In addition to disaster prevention, we will also conduct safety training on a regular basis to prevent safety accidents involving the response unit."

Sacheon-si plans to continue strengthening its forest disaster response capabilities through systematic education and training in the future.
