County, Court, and Prosecutors' Office Sign Agreement
Full-Scale Launch of Site Development and Administrative Support
Uiseong County has begun improving its living infrastructure by establishing a cooperation system for the relocation of local judicial institution buildings. The county announced that on the 24th, it signed an inter-agency work agreement at the Uiseong Branch of the Daegu District Court for the relocation of the buildings of the Uiseong Branch of the Daegu District Court and the Uiseong Branch of the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office.
The agreement was prepared with the aim of ensuring the smooth implementation of the relocation project and establishing a close cooperative framework among the institutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by Uiseong County Governor Kim Jusu, the head of the Uiseong Branch of the court, the head of the Uiseong Branch of the prosecutors' office, and related public officials, who shared the project direction and cooperation plans.
The main points of the agreement are: establishing a cooperative system for the systematic implementation of the new building construction and relocation; providing administrative support for the development of the relocation site and its timely supply; and continuing consultations and joint responses on detailed implementation matters. Through this, the parties expect to minimize administrative variables and factors that could delay the project during the relocation process, and to establish a stable foundation for project implementation.
Building on this agreement, Uiseong County plans to improve its aging judicial facilities, enhance user convenience, and thereby strengthen residents' access to judicial services. In particular, once the relocation of the buildings is completed, civil petition, trial, and prosecution services will be provided in a more pleasant environment, which is expected to have a positive impact on improving local living conditions.
Uiseong County Governor Kim Jusu said, "We will work closely with the relevant institutions and provide active support so that the relocation project for the buildings can proceed without a hitch," adding, "We will do our utmost to create an environment in which residents can use more convenient and pleasant judicial and administrative services."
The relocation of local judicial institutions is significant not only as a simple facility upgrade, but also in terms of maintaining living infrastructure and strengthening administrative functions. At a time when the crisis of regional extinction is accelerating, efforts to stably maintain the functions of public institutions are regarded as a key factor in securing regional competitiveness. Going forward, the success or failure of the project is expected to depend on follow-up procedures such as site development, securing budgets, and managing the project schedule.
