Exclusive Nottingham Green Color and Signature Stripe Design
Priced at 59.7 Million Won with Subsidies Up to 9.15 Million Won
MINI Korea officially launched the "All-Electric MINI Cooper SE Paul Smith Edition" on the 25th, created in collaboration with British designer Paul Smith. MINI and Paul Smith have been collaborating since 1998, presenting results based on craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation.
This edition, limited to 100 units in Korea, sold out in about a month after pre-orders opened in January. MINI Korea has decided to bring in additional units and plans to introduce an internal combustion engine Paul Smith Edition model in the second half of the year.
The Paul Smith Edition features details designed by Paul Smith and a refined color combination. The exterior is available in the newly introduced exclusive colors "Inspired White" and "Statement Grey," as well as "Midnight Black," which emphasizes depth. The roof, radiator grille, side mirror caps, and wheel caps use the exclusive color "Nottingham Green," inspired by Paul Smith's hometown of Nottingham, creating a sophisticated harmony.
Standard equipment includes 18-inch Night Flash Spoke Black lightweight alloy wheels, with Paul Smith lettering added to the wheel caps and tailgate handle. When the doors are opened, a signature projection displays the word "hello" on the ground.
Inside, the fabric dashboard is finished in the signature stripe pattern, creating a fresh yet premium ambiance, and the pattern is extended to the JCW sports seats to provide a sense of unity.
The lower part of the sports steering wheel features a signature stripe strap and Paul Smith lettering, while the floor mats incorporate the "Paul's Rabbit" graphic designed by Paul Smith to enhance the emotional appeal. The 240mm circular OLED display has a dedicated background with the signature stripe graphic and Paul Smith lettering, and the MINI App also offers a Paul Smith Edition-exclusive theme.
An electric motor delivering a maximum output of 218 horsepower and maximum torque of 33.7kg·m provides the characteristic instant response and strong torque of an electric vehicle, enabling the car to accelerate from a standstill to 100km/h in just 6.7 seconds. The high-voltage battery with a capacity of 54.2kWh achieves an energy efficiency of 5.3km/kWh, which is among the best in the premium imported car segment. On a single charge, it can travel up to 300km under the Korean certification standard (up to 402km based on WLTP), and when using fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes.
Standard features include "Driving Assistant Plus," which offers active cruise control with Stop & Go and lane keeping assist, and "Parking Assistant Plus," which provides a surround view, Remote 3D View, and a drive recorder. Additional standard equipment includes a head-up display, Harman Kardon sound system, 2-zone automatic air conditioning, heated seats, a driver’s seat massage function, Comfort Access, and a panoramic glass roof.
The Paul Smith Edition is priced at 59.7 million won (including VAT and based on the temporary reduction of individual consumption tax). Electric vehicle purchase subsidies can reduce the burden further, with support of up to 9.15 million won (including 3.96 million won in national subsidies, based on Haenam-gun in Jeollanam-do, varying by local government).
