Geumsan-gun Conducts Hands-on Training on Operating the "Integrated Management Platform for Foreign Seasonal Workers"

Operated in Parallel with the Existing Integrated Visa Information System (Visa Portal)

Geumsan-gun has completed preparations by participating in training on operating the "Integrated Management Platform for Foreign Seasonal Workers" system, which will begin pilot operation in February this year.

This hands-on training took place on the 24th at the Government Complex Gwacheon. One staff member from the county office in charge of foreign seasonal workers attended, gaining a better understanding of the platform transition and taking part in practical exercises designed to minimize confusion that may arise in the process of data entry and processing.

The training covered user training and demonstrations of the Integrated Management Platform for Seasonal Work, methods for entering employer and worker information, and guidance on work processing procedures.

In particular, during the 60-minute practical session, participants entered data into the actual system and directly experienced the workflow.

The Integrated Management Platform for Foreign Seasonal Work will be operated in parallel with the existing Integrated Visa Information System (Visa Portal), and during the pilot period, difficulties in the field will be identified and improvements will be made.

An official from the county said, "The foreign seasonal work program plays an important role in alleviating labor shortages during the busy farming season. We will actively respond so that the new Integrated Management Platform can enable more systematic and efficient management of workers."

The official added, "We will continue to strengthen related training and administrative support to protect the rights and interests of foreign seasonal workers and to ensure a stable supply of labor for farms."
