Kakao Entertainment's Berriz Launches "Samsung Lions Team Store"

Kakao Entertainment announced on February 24 that it will open the "Lions Team Store Online Mall" on its fan platform "Berriz," where fans can purchase official merchandise of the professional baseball team Samsung Lions.

Kakao Entertainment will introduce a range of products using the club and player licenses, including standard uniforms, limited-edition commemorative items, and season-specific merchandise.

It will sell limited-edition commemorative products for Choi Hyungwoo (designated hitter), Lewin Diaz (first baseman), and Koo Ja-wook (outfielder), who won Golden Glove awards in the 2025 Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) season. The products will be available exclusively for pre-order on Berriz Shop. The lineup consists of three items: T-shirts, gym sacks, and keyrings, all designed with the players participating in every stage from planning to production.

The commemorative merchandise reflects the unique personalities of Choi Hyungwoo, who set a new record as the oldest Golden Glove winner, Lewin Diaz, who achieved the most RBIs in KBO history, and Samsung captain Koo Ja-wook. The products use colors such as black, midnight blue, and sky blue, and the uniform patches for Choi Hyungwoo and Koo Ja-wook are inscribed with their eighth and fourth career Golden Glove awards, respectively. The keyrings feature each player's jersey number.

Replica uniforms and other apparel, caps, cheering gear, and the "2026 Kids Membership" kit created in collaboration with the Kakao Friends character Little Ryan will be released sequentially.

Berriz is a platform for fans of K-culture, including K-pop, dramas, variety shows, webtoons, and sports. It offers services such as real-time live communication with artists and artificial intelligence (AI) persona chat. Berriz Shop currently sells official merchandise for artists under SM Entertainment, as well as IU, IVE, and (G)I-DLE.
