Five Fields Including Urban Planning, Architecture, Community, Social Economy, and Culture and Arts... Applications Accepted Until March 13
Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) is openly recruiting members for the "2nd Urban Regeneration Advisory Committee" to enhance the expertise of its Urban Regeneration Support Center projects.
The Urban Regeneration Advisory Committee is a pool of experts that conducts evaluation, review, advisory, and consulting tasks to improve the quality of urban regeneration projects and to promote region-specific initiatives. It is responsible for objective review and professional advisory services on the overall projects of the Urban Regeneration Support Center.
The recruitment fields consist of five areas: ▲Urban Planning and Regeneration ▲Architecture and Design ▲Local Community ▲Social Economy and Start-ups ▲Culture and Arts. Around 50 experts in total, approximately 10 for each field, will be selected.
Eligible applicants are those who reside or work in Busan and fall under one of the following categories: ▲Academic experts at the level of assistant professor or higher at a university ▲Those with at least five years of experience after obtaining a doctoral degree ▲Experts with at least five years of practical experience after obtaining a relevant qualification.
The term of office for the 2nd advisory committee members will be two years, from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2028. During their term, appointed members will carry out tasks such as selection evaluation, advisory, and consulting related to the projects of the Urban Regeneration Support Center.
Applications will be accepted until March 13, 2026. Applicants must complete the application form and supporting documents and submit them by email. The results of the selection will be announced on the corporation's website and also notified individually.
