Eastar Jet announced on the 20th that it will launch a new route between Incheon and Hong Kong starting March 31, expanding its network in the Greater China region. The route will operate daily, seven times a week.

The flight schedule departs from Incheon International Airport at 8:10 p.m. and arrives at Hong Kong International Airport at 10:45 p.m. (local time). The return flight departs Hong Kong at 12:05 a.m. the following day and arrives at Incheon Airport at 5:10 a.m.

Eastar Jet expects strong demand from office workers, as the schedule allows passengers to depart after work and use the weekend for short trips. The arrival time in Hong Kong allows travelers to use local public transportation, and after returning to Korea, they can also conveniently connect to domestic public transportation.

To commemorate the launch, a special promotion will be held from 10:00 a.m. on the 23rd through the company website, mobile app, and other channels. The minimum one-way total fare, including airport charges and fuel surcharges, starts from 76,600 won, and the travel period runs from March 31 to October 24.

This is Eastar Jet's 14th route in the Greater China region. Last year, the number of passengers on Eastar Jet's China routes increased by more than 128 percent year-on-year, and the average load factor per flight also rose by more than 28 percent, indicating robust demand for routes to the Greater China region.

An Eastar Jet official said, "Hong Kong is a core route with steady demand for both tourism and business travel," adding, "By offering a schedule that allows passengers to depart after work, we will provide an attractive option for travelers and will continue to expand our network in the Greater China region."
