[Featured Stock] Douzone Bizon Rises on MOU with FuriosaAI for Global Commercialization of AI Solutions

Douzone Bizon is strong. The stock appears to be reacting to news that the company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with FuriosaAI for the global commercialization of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

As of 1:48 p.m. on the 19th, Douzone Bizon is trading at 91,300 won, up 2.93% from the previous day.

On this day, Douzone Bizon announced that it had signed an "MOU for the global commercialization of NPU (neural processing unit)-based AI solutions" with AI semiconductor company FuriosaAI.

An NPU is a neural processing unit used in the development of generative AI. It consumes less power than a graphics processing unit (GPU) and offers significant advantages in AI inference and computation. FuriosaAI is an AI semiconductor design company that, since its founding in 2017, has moved from commercializing a first-generation computer-vision NPU to recently starting mass production of its second-generation chip, RNGD (Renegade).

This MOU is based on the "2025 AI Semiconductor Overseas Demonstration Project," which the two companies carried out jointly, as well as the successful collaboration outcomes they have accumulated over time. They agreed to pursue multifaceted cooperative activities, including mutual technological collaboration and the creation of joint references, with the goal of commercializing AI solutions based on Renegade in both domestic and overseas markets.

In particular, they will focus on running and applying Douzone Bizon's ONE AI in FuriosaAI's NPU environment. In private environments where security and stability are critical, such as in the public and financial sectors, it is important to build infrastructure that takes into account not only AI service performance but also power efficiency and operational efficiency. The two companies plan to use Renegade-based infrastructure to verify these aspects.

They will also secure market applicability and technological reliability step by step. Based on real-world service operating environments, they will pursue objective verification of the performance of AI services built on domestic NPUs, as well as throughput relative to power consumption, and will confirm and accumulate the results through a reliable third-party verification framework.

Through this, the two companies expect to be able to demonstrate the operational efficiency and cost competitiveness of AI services running on domestic NPUs. They also plan to jointly establish the technological foundation needed for commercialization and market expansion in both Korean and overseas markets.

With this partnership, Douzone Bizon has reduced its dependence on expensive foreign GPUs and secured an independent AI infrastructure option that utilizes domestic AI semiconductors. FuriosaAI, for its part, plans to expand its supply base by targeting Douzone Bizon's corporate customers and to use application cases and feedback from core corporate work areas in its future market development efforts.
