Signs "reseller partner" and "enterprise AI implementation partner" agreements
Launches "OpenAI Launch Center"...technical collaboration with OpenAI expert engineers
LG CNS is leveraging OpenAI technology to target the domestic enterprise AI transformation (AX) market.
LG CNS recently signed contracts with OpenAI as a "reseller partner" and an "enterprise AI implementation partner," the company announced on February 18. Under these agreements, LG CNS will support Korean corporate customers across the entire lifecycle of ChatGPT Enterprise, the enterprise version of ChatGPT, from adoption and utilization to ongoing operations.
With ChatGPT Enterprise, a company's internal information is neither exposed externally nor used for artificial intelligence (AI) training, allowing even sensitive work to be handled with confidence. It can be integrated with in-house systems and data, and even when complex work materials or large-volume documents are uploaded, users can quickly obtain the results they want.
According to OpenAI's recently published "State of Enterprise AI" report, ChatGPT Enterprise conversation volume increased by about eightfold year-on-year. Token consumption related to "reasoning," which is used in complex problem-solving processes, also surged by approximately 320 times.
LG CNS plans to provide ChatGPT Enterprise, which features robust security and the ability to handle highly complex work, to domestic enterprises. To this end, it has also established a dedicated task force (TF) called the "OpenAI Launch Center." This organization is primarily composed of LG CNS AI engineers, AI architects, and AI consultants, and will work in close collaboration with OpenAI's own expert engineers.
The OpenAI Launch Center will offer end-to-end services for the introduction of ChatGPT Enterprise, including consulting, specialized technical support, and system implementation. Depending on each company's stage of AI adoption, LG CNS also plans to provide practical workshop programs that allow customers to experience ChatGPT Enterprise and apply it directly to real-world work.
Based on its enterprise AI implementation partner agreement, LG CNS also plans to develop customized AI agent services for customers by utilizing the OpenAI application programming interface (API).
"LG CNS is creating the largest number of successful AX cases for customers in Korea," said Kim Taehun, Executive Vice President and Head of the AI & Cloud Business Unit at LG CNS. "Through our collaboration with OpenAI, we will further strengthen our leadership in the domestic enterprise AX market."
