Morning low temperatures are forecast to range from -6 to 4 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 4 and 13 degrees Celsius.

Morning temperatures will drop by 3 to 8 degrees Celsius compared with the previous day (by around 10 degrees Celsius in parts of the greater Seoul area and Gangwon Province), bringing readings below 0 degrees Celsius in most regions nationwide, and it will feel even colder due to the wind.

Gangwon Yeongdong, the eastern part of North and South Gyeongsang, and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy, with rain or snow expected mainly along the East Coast.

From late dawn, rain or snow will fall on the East Coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon; from the morning, it will spread to the East Coast of North Gyeongsang and its northeastern mountainous areas; and from the afternoon, to Busan and Ulsan, before tapering off in most areas at night.

Snow accumulation is expected to reach 3 to 8 centimeters (more than 10 centimeters in some areas) in the mountainous regions of Gangwon and 1 to 5 centimeters along the Gangwon East Coast. The northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang are expected to receive 1 to 3 centimeters, and the northern East Coast of North Gyeongsang less than 1 centimeter.

Expected precipitation is 5 to 15 millimeters for the Gangwon East Coast and mountainous areas, around 5 millimeters for the northern East Coast of North Gyeongsang and its northeastern mountainous areas, less than 5 millimeters for the southern East Coast of North Gyeongsang, and around 1 millimeter for Ulleung Island and Dokdo.

In areas where rain or snow falls, visibility will be short and many roads will be slippery. In addition, icy roads and black ice are likely to form in some places, so drivers should take extra care with traffic safety.

Fine dust levels are expected to range from "good" to "moderate" nationwide under the influence of clean northwesterly air currents.

However, North Chungcheong, North Gyeongsang, South Gyeongsang, and Jeju are expected to see "bad" levels until dawn, and Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang are expected to see "bad" levels until the morning.

Waves will range from 0.5 to 2.5 meters off the East Coast, and from 0.5 to 2.0 meters off the West and South Coasts.

In the offshore waters closer to land (the offshore area within about 200 kilometers of the coastline), wave heights in the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea are expected to range from 1.0 to 3.5 meters.
