In Incheon, Gyeonggi Province, the southern inland areas of Gangwon Province, the Chungcheong region, North Jeolla Province, the west coast of South Jeolla Province, and the western inland areas of South Gyeongsang Province, dense fog with visibility of less than 200 meters is expected until 10:00 a.m., and fog reducing visibility to less than 1 kilometer is expected in other areas as well.
Because of the fog, light drizzle may fall around rivers, lakes, and valleys, and there may be disruptions to flight operations at airports, so passengers are advised to check flight information in advance.
In the central and northern inland areas and mountainous regions of Gangwon Province, a few raindrops may fall between dawn and morning. However, in the east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province where dry weather advisories are in effect, as well as along the east coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province, and in Busan and Ulsan, even a small spark can develop into a large fire, so thorough fire prevention is necessary.
Morning lows are forecast to range from minus 2 to 7 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 6 to 19 degrees Celsius, which is higher than the seasonal averages (morning minus 8 to 2 degrees, daytime 4 to 10 degrees).
In the Gyeongsang region, the temperature difference between day and night will be around 15 degrees Celsius, so people should take care of their health.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to reach "bad" levels in most parts of the country, except in South Jeolla Province and Jeju Island.
Waves will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters high off the east and south coasts, and from 0.5 to 2.0 meters off the west coast.
In the outer coastal waters (the distant sea within about 200 kilometers of the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
