During the event, the city provided a concise overview of its key startup policies, focusing on programs such as New Venture Startup Support, TipTop Startup Nurturing Program, Startup Overseas Market Development Support Program, Startup Field Operation Program, Youth Startup Support Program, and Local Pack Support Program for Small Business Owners. Participants were able to grasp the step-by-step support system and how to utilize it at a glance, sharing practical information with one another.
During the networking time held alongside the briefing, women entrepreneurs freely exchanged opinions on startup items and business directions. On site, various proposals were made regarding policy directions and improvement tasks to vitalize the women’s venture and women’s startup ecosystem, and the city plans to reflect these in future policy refinements.
Gumi City plans to continue operating such briefings on a regular basis together with the Gumi Electronics & Information Technology Research Institute, strengthening policy outreach and building a highly tangible startup support system based on feedback gathered in the field.
