Park Jihoo, the singer who placed in the TOP 9 on "Mr. Trot 3," will officially release his new self-composed and self-written song "Blurred Face" on February 15, 2026 at 6 p.m. through online music streaming sites, marking his first release in seven months since his debut track "Dyeing," which came out in July 2025.
"Blurred Face" is a trot ballad with a rock sound that naturally brings to mind the most radiant days one had quietly folded away in their heart. The song as a whole captures the moments when, even though life seems to be going well, the heart inevitably returns to those days of the past.
By using the image of a blurred face reflected in the mirror and wrinkled hands, it conveys the traces of time and the loneliness of life, while naturally evoking a longing for the days that once shone so brightly. In particular, the chorus line "Brilliant days, I miss you," along with the unspoken longing that was hard to bring up, leaves a lingering resonance as if it were singing in place of those faded memories.
"Blurred Face" was pre-released on February 6, 2026 through the KBS1 program "Morning Yard," where Park drew viewers' attention with his deeply appealing vocals.
Meanwhile, after steadily building a strong fan base last year through frequent television appearances and event performances, Park Jihoo is set to hold a talk and mini-concert titled "Boy: Dazzling in the Dark" at Gavin Art Hall in Seoul on February 28, 2026, where he plans to share stories he could not fully tell on air in the form of a mini concert.
