On the 8th, Kim Sanggyeom won the silver medal in the men's snowboard parallel giant slalom held at the Livigno Snow Park in Italy, and on the 9th, Yu Seungeun claimed the bronze medal in the women's snowboard big air. These are the second and third Olympic medals in the history of Korean skiing and snowboarding. In particular, this is the first time Korean skiing and snowboarding have achieved multiple medals at a single Olympic Games.

Ahead of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, the association set prize money at 300 million won for a gold medal, 200 million won for a silver medal, and 100 million won for a bronze medal. There were no medalists at that time, and the association maintained the same prize levels for this Olympics.
