Gyeongsan City Youth Association Holds Inauguration and Retirement Ceremony for 24th Executive Board...Seong Daepyo Becomes New President

About 200 Members Attend, Reaffirming Youth Solidarity and Role

The Gyeongsan City Youth Association (President Seong Daepyo) held the inauguration and retirement ceremony for the 24th executive board on the 7th at Geumpo Hall of Gyeongsan Jungang Elementary School.


About 200 people attended the event, including newly appointed President Seong Daepyo, outgoing President Choi Jaeyoung, members of the Gyeongsan City Youth Association, National Assembly member Cho Jiyeon, Gyeongsan Mayor Cho Hyunil, and heads of local institutions and organizations, to celebrate the launch of the 24th executive board together.

The ceremony proceeded in the order of commendation and merit awards, farewell and inauguration speeches, and congratulatory addresses. Through this, participants looked back on the achievements of past activities and shared the roles and responsibilities of the association as a local youth organization.


Newly appointed President Seong Daepyo said, "Following the extraordinary dedication and love for our hometown shown by our seniors as an example, I will communicate closely with our members and do my utmost to ensure that the power of youth can contribute to the development of our community."


In his congratulatory address, Gyeongsan Mayor Cho Hyunil said, "The responsibilities and roles of youth emphasized by the new president will become a new driving force for our city of Gyeongsan," adding, "When young people unite on their own and take the lead in solving local issues, the future of Gyeongsan can grow together."
