Full-scale Launch of Culture and Arts Programs
Tailored to Each Life Stage, from Infants and Teenagers to Adults
The Miryang Cultural Tourism Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the foundation) is recruiting participants by age group for the "2026 Miryang Dreaming Art Center Culture and Arts Education Program," which will be operated at the Miryang Dreaming Art Center starting on February 6.
This education program has been designed as age-specific, specialized courses so that all generations, from infants and toddlers to adults, can communicate and grow through the arts. All courses will be conducted in a convergent art format that combines various genres.

The program for infants and toddlers, the five-senses-satisfying art play "Tingting Taengtaeng," will be offered to daycare centers and kindergartens within the city. It will reinterpret local Miryang stories such as the Uiyeoldan, Eoreumgol, and Maneosa through art play, and provide experiential culture and arts education that connects with specialized Uiyeoldan docents and encompasses the natural ecosystem. The participation fee is 150,000 won per group (around 20 participants), and a total of seven groups will be recruited.
For teenagers, the career exploration program in culture and the arts, "Dreamers," will be operated. Aimed at elementary, middle, and high school students in the city, it is structured to help them explore a wide range of culture and arts professions through mentoring by active professionals such as voice actors, fashion designers, reporters, and curators. In particular, this year the program will collaborate with the Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Theater Festival to offer hands-on experience in producing the opening remarks. Participation is free of charge, and a shuttle bus will be provided for participating students. Up to eight schools can take part.
The adult program "Yegam School" is a high-quality arts education course designed to enhance cultural and artistic appreciation skills. It will be expanded to a total of eight genres, including flower art, classical music, film humanities, jazz, ballet, tea ceremony, pansori, and musicals, and will combine theory with practical experiences so that participants can experience the arts more deeply in their daily lives. The participation fee is 40,000 won per person for eight sessions per genre, and each course will be limited to 15 participants.
Lee Chiwoo, CEO of the foundation, said, "I hope children will joyfully experience the stories of the region, and that teenagers and adults will design their futures and enrich their lives through the arts," adding, "We will continue to provide a wide range of culture and arts education programs that encompass all generations."
Participant recruitment will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis from February 6 until each program reaches full capacity. Applications and inquiries can be made through the Education and Exhibition Team of the Miryang Cultural Tourism Foundation or the Miryang Dreaming Art Center website.
